What do the esteemed Islamic scholars and honorable jurists say regarding the following issue: A person has taken a loan of one hundred thousand rupees from the government on interest (i.e., he is obligated to repay the loan to the government with interest). Can this person give that one hundred thousand rupees to someone else as an interest-free loan? Kindly provide a detailed answer to this question from evidence of the Qur'an and Hadith.
It is permissible to lend the borrowed money to someone else without charging interest. However, taking an interest-based loan in the first place is impermissible and prohibited in Islam. One must completely avoid such transactions in the future, and it is necessary to bring the current interest-based deal to an end as soon as possible.
