Skin of the Qurbani was given to build the library of the Masjid?

Skin of the Qurbani was given to build the library of the Masjid? Is it right to give their or no? If no then what shall I do now?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

It is not permissible to spend the amount recovered through the skin of Qurbani on building purposes of Masjids and Madrasas etc., as other Sadaqas are utilized, since ownership of same is essential which is not found in construction of Masjids and Madrasas. Hence it is necessary for the questioner to do Sadaqa on Fuqara and Masakeen the amount paid from the skin of Qurbani on such construction matters.
