If a person is clean (ie. not in need of a compulsory bath) but not in the state of ablution. So can he touch the Qur'an Shareef? If no, then what is the compensation for it? Please answer urgently
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Although it is not permissible to touch the Holy Qur'an without a barrier if one is not in the state of ablution (Wudhu), there is no particular compensation, as per Shari'ah, for doing such. However it is necessary to abstain from doing so in future.
And Allah knows best.

و فی الهدایة: (ولیس لھم مس المصحف إلا بغلافه الخ) (۱/۶۴) والله أعلم بالصواب!
