Ruling on performing Qurbani (i.e. the animal sacrifice) with an animal that appears older than its actual age.

If a sheep appears to be six months old, would it be permissible to perform the animal sacrifice (i.e. Qurbani) with it, or is this law only for a specific type of sheep (i.e. چکی والی دنبہ)? Similarly, if a goat is six month but appears to be one year of age, would it be permissible to do Qurbani with it?

الجواب حامدا و مصلیا

Regardless of the breed of sheep or goat, if it appears to be one year, then it would be permissible to do Qurbani with it, otherwise, it wouldn’t.
