Adding animal features to pictures and sharing them on social media

Nowadays, people edit their photo by adding animal features to their faces and share such photos on social media. What is the ruling on this?

Since it is indeed a great sin to dishonor the human figure, it is not permissible to distort or edit the face, adding animal features and share it in social media. This must be avoided.
