How is it to name “Zaml/Aira Fatimah”?
Assalamu Alaikum! My question is: What is the meaning of the name Zaml Fatimah, and what kind of name is it? Also, Aira Fatimah.
الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً
It should be clarified that most of the meanings of “Zaml” are inappropriate and not suitable for naming (for example, a coward, weak, lazy, or idle person, etc.). Similarly, “Aira” is also not a meaningful word according to Arabic dictionaries. Therefore, for the girl, it is better to choose a name from the names of Sahabiyat (female companions) or other pious women.
