The Significance of the 15th of Shaban

Kindly let me know about the significance of 15 shaban in the light of Quran and Sahee Ahadith.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
There are many narrations from which the importance and significance of the night of the 15th of Sha'ban is exposed, whereas there are also narrations in which observing an optional fast on its day is mentioned. However, it must be noted that congregating on this night is merely a tradition and a common practice of the general public which has no basis in the Shari'ah, hence it must be refrained from .
