Mihrab is a part of the Masjid, therefore, I’thikaf does not become void

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM MUFTISAHAB. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER I'THIKAF اعتکاف BECOMES NULLIFIED IF ONE GOES INSIDE THE MIHRAB OF THE MOSQUE?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

Mihrab is considered as a part of the Masjid, therefore, I’thikaf does not become void by going there unless in a particular Masjid if Mihrab is kept away from the Masjid due to construction work in process.
