We intend to perform Umrah, but first we have to go to Turkey and we will perform Umrah on our return. The question is that when we are going to Turkey, our flight has a 9-hour stay at Jeddah airport, and then we will go to Turkey from there. We will perform Umrah on our return, when we return to Jeddah from Turkey. So will it be necessary to wear Ihram when we stop in Jeddah on our way to Turkey or not? Will we have to wear Ihram on our way as well?
If the questioner intends to go to Turkey first, then it is not necessary for him to put on Ihram while passing through the Miqat. However, upon returning from Turkey, when leaving for Umrah, it is necessary for him to put on Ihram before passing through the Miqat.
