Assalamualikum; I want to clear the concept behind the naming of a famous Pakistani dish that is Haleem. Recently I have received an SMS in which it was mentioned that Haleem is the name of Almighty Allah so we should avoid calling that dish as Haleem as it may dishonor the Name of Allah. Another name of "haleem" was suggested in that SMS that is Daleem which is derived from a common eatable in Pakistan called "Daliya". Kindly provide your precious remarks about this matter.
Although in Arabic language Haleem is the name of Allah Tha'ala, the name provided for the said dish is given in terms of Urdu language and not in Arabic. The sole literal resemblance does not tantamount to irreverence hence, there is no harm in using that word. However it is more appreciable if the literal resemblance too could be done away with.
