I want to know about an app called StreamKar, through which one can earn money. You have to complete 40 hours live on this app and only 15 days is valid for this. If you use this app for at least one hour daily then all every day each day will be valid. If you have received 2 lakhs in gifts, you will be eligible to receive a salary. There are also dealers available on this app who gives gifts in exchange for money. For example: if one has 10 lakhs in gifts then the company will give you a salary of Rs.16000. If you are new on the app you will get a bonus of Rs.4000. Dealers will send you 10 lakhs in gifts for Rs.12000, then (because of having 10 lakhs of gifts on your account) the company will give you a salary of Rs.16000. Is this all Halal or Haram?
If after going live on this app one avoids doing such things that are not approved of by the Shari’ah, and remains live for 40 hours per month and gets paid from the company based on the gifts received form his viewers, then it is permissible for him to use this money. However, if after going live, he does anything that is not approved of by the Shari’ah, and viewers are sending him gifts for this, from which as a result, he is getting paid by the company, then in that case, all of this will not be permissible as per Shari’ah. Furthermore, in apps such as this the restrictions of the Shari’ah are not usually taken into consideration, hence one should avoid using them.
And Allah knows best
