Is it permissible to refer to one’s mother as “Pilgrimage to the Kaba”? For example: I mentioned to someone that my mother is my pilgrimage to the Kaba. He told me to seek repentance. I told that that I was referring to her status, as it is said that the reward for serving ones mother is like that of Hajj. Therefore what I meant was “My service to her is like me performing pilgrimage to the Kaba.” Please guide.
Allahتعالی rewards one who looks at his parents with eyes of mercy with the rewards of an accepted Nafl Hajj. If on this basis, one says to his mother “You are my Hajj,” then there is no sin in that. However, it is not proper for one to call his mother such names, and this should be avoided.
And Allah knows best.
Is it necessary for a Son to obey his parents in each and every situation?
