Ruling on Forgoing the Payment of Sadaqatul-Fitr

Asalam el kum
Please tell me in detail about the Fitra. Is it sinful to not pay it?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

It is Wajib for a Sahib-e-Nisab to pay the Fitra on the day of Eid, hence, it would be sinful for him to forgo paying the Fitra.
