Relaxation granted in the month of ramazan for a pregnant women

Dear Sir,Asalam-o-Alikum,
With due respespect i want to ask two questions.
1. What are the relaxation granted in the month of ramazan for a pregnant women?
2. If a women is unable to do fasting during pregnancey because of her health, whether she has to do sadqa, or she has to fast for some other month?
Please quide in detail regarding all the issues explained in shariah.

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

In case of a strong possibility of her destruction, aggravation of her sickness, losing her pregnancy or any other kind of losses by her observing Fasting or in case an expert religious doctor has prevented, in such circumstances a pregnant woman may not observes Fasting but she should observe Qaza Fasting later for those number of days.

کمافي الدر:وخوف هلاك أو نقصان عقل ولو بعطش شديد ولسعة حية لمسافر سفرا شرعياً او حامل او مرضع خافت بغلبة الظن على نفسها او ولدها او مريض خاف الزيادة لمرضه وصحيح خاف المرض الخ بغلبة الظن بأمارة او تجربة أو بأخبار طبيب حاذق اھ(2/422) ۔
وفيه أيضاً: وقضوا لزوما ما قدروا بلا فدية وبلا ولاء اھ(2/423) ۔
