Ruling on the comission recieved for writing an exam on behalf of someone else

Can a freelancer get paid for taking an exam on behalf of a university student? Will the comission given to him for this service be Halal (lawful)?

It is illegal to take an exam on behalf on another student or to assist him in answering the questions provided in his exam. Since the Shari’ah recognizes this as a form of deceit and is unfair to the other students, it would not be permissible, and the commission received for it would be unlawful. For this reason, doing such should be avoided.
