Is eating shark (شارک مچھلی) halal?

Assalam-o-Alaikum.
Is eating shark is halal/not because i heard that all type of fish is halal. please give some definition.

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

From the living beings of sea, only fish is Halal to eat with it's all types and varieties according to the Ahnaf. Since shark too is a kind of fish it is undoubtedly correct and permissible to eat it.
