Someone saying “یا رسول اللہ” or “بھر دے جھولی میری یا محمد”

Will saying words that constitute Shirk (ascribing partners to Allah), such as someone saying “یا رسول اللہ” or “بھر دے جھولی میری یا محمد” as in some Naats, make is incumbent on one to renew his faith and marriage? Will someone have to repent and seek forgiveness after uttering words that constitutes Shirk or disbelief?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

Uttering words such as “یا رسول اللہ” and “الصلاۃ والسلام علیک یا رسول اللہ” while holding the belief that the Holy Prophetﷺ is able to grant one’s needs without any means and that he is omnipresent and ever-looking, is not permissible. This is in fact Shirk, which has been condemned in many places in the Quran and Ahadith.
However, even though it may not be impermissible (therefore, there will be no need to renew one’s faith or marriage after uttering such words, and it is also used in poetry) to utter such words out of love of the Holy Prophetﷺ or so that the angels may deliver his salutations to the Holy Prophetﷺ, these words has been mostly associated with certain innovative sects who carry unauthentic and unorthodox Islamic beliefs, and saying such words may cause one to bear resemblance to such innovative sects. For this reason, one should avoid uttering such words even out of love for the Holy Prophetﷺ.
