Did Hazrat Ali (R.A) pledge allegiance with the three Khalifas before him?

Did Hazrat Ali (R.A) pledge allegiance with the three Khalifas before him?

Assalamu Alaikum,
Hope from Allah that you are in good health and may He keep you in good health. The question is whether Hazrat Ali had pledged (Bai'ath) allegience with the previous 3 Khaleefas or no? Please quote references from Qur'an, Hadees and History and reply in both the circumstances.
I asked this because I wanted to have knowledge about this and so far I could not find from anybody. You will be greatly appreciated if you please reply this question.

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Yes! it is clearly mentioned in authentic narrations and books of history that Hazrat Ali Radhiyallahu Anhu had pledged allegiance (Bai'at) with the earlier three Khalifas. Furthermore, Hazrat Ali Radhiyallahu Anhu himself narrated about when he pledged allegiance.

وفی التکملہ:عن ابی سعید الخدری رضی اللہ عنه قصة السقیفةوفی آخرھا "ثم اخذ زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنه بید ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنه فقال ھذا صاحبکم فبایعوہ ثم انطلقوا فلما قعد ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنه علی المنبر نظر فی وجوہ القوم فلم یر علیا رضی اللہ عنه فسال عنه فقام ناس من الانصار فاتوابه فقال ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنه ابن عم رسول اللہ ﷺ وختنه اردت ان تشق عصا المسلمین؟فقال لا تثریب یا خلیفة رسول اللہ فبایعه " اھ(3/106)
وفی تاریخ الاسلام للذھبی :عن الحسن رضی اللہ عنه قال لما قدم علی رضی اللہ عنه البصرۃ قام الیه ابن الکوآء وقیس بن عباد فقال له:الاتخبرنا عن مسیرک ھذا الذی سرت فیہ ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ فحدثنا ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔فانت الموثوق المامون علی ما سمعت فقال ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ولکن رسول اللہ ﷺ لم یقتل قتلاً ولم یمت فجاۃ مکث فی مرضه ایاما ولیا لی یاتیه المؤذن فیؤذنه بالصلاۃ فیامر ابابکر فیصلی بالناس۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔فلما قبض اللہ نبیه۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔فبایعنا عمر۔۔۔۔۔۔۔فلما قبض ولاھا عمر رضی اللہ عنه۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔فبایعنا عمر ۔۔۔۔۔فلما قبض۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔فبایعنا عثمان فادیت له حقه وعرفت له طاعته اھ(3/641)
وفیہ ایضاً :عن سعید بن عمرو قال خطبناعلی رضی اللہ عنہ فقال ان رسول اللہ ﷺ لم یعھد الینا فی الامارۃ شیاً ولکن رای رایناہ فاستخلف ابوبکر فقام واستقام ثم الستخلف عمر رضی اللہ عنہ فقام واستقام اھ (3/639)
