The questioner is made to effect with sickness by Allah Ta’ala

AsalamOAlaikum,

My age is 25. I am working in a computer company. Before 8 months from now i was infected with a infection in my lungs and it was predicted by doctors as TB or close to TB. For me and my family it was very unexpected and new. This disease has a long healing process for minimum 6 months so after the confirmation of doctors -because this disease infects with sneeze and cough- and after 1 month absent from office i joined my office again.
In starting days, i resist myself from sitting with colleagues and sharing our meals etc due to disease but After 2-3 months things are back to normal, usually started what i am resisting.
And after 4-5 months of my disease i found that my one colleague also has infected with the same disease and i think unintentionally i am the reason for that.
Now i am very tense and what i cause some one due to me and my carelessness.
Mufti Sahab please guide me with the Islamic and cultural perspective? what should i do, should i confess that person? and on what account i am sinful in this ? please quote ayats and hadees also.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful
This is simply an illusion of the questioner. Hence it is totally incorrect to confess and admit oneself to be the cause and it is necessary to abstain from doing so. Reason for same is that in as much the questioner is made to effect with sickness by Allah Ta’ala, sickness of the colleague too is from Allah Tha’ala. In any case, Dua could be beseeched from allah Ta’ala that He grant complete recovery to him and to the questioner.
