Deduction from the salary in the laid down terms and conditions?

In the company where I work, one day off is taken for late arrival of three Days. Is it correct according to Shariah? Please send reply.

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful
If the said deduction from the salary is mentioned in the laid down terms and conditions of the company and the employee too is informed of same during the time of appointment and the salary too is given on daily basis according to the number of hours worked, in such a situation, deducting salary for the time remained absent uninformed is correct and permissible in the Shari’a as well.
Whereas, for the absence of less time duration, deducting a full days wage or more than that from the salary is not permissible, rather, being on the basis of fiscal punishment, it is prohibited and essential to refrain from it.

Allah knows best.
