Can we use inhaler while fasting?

Can we use inhaler while fasting? Lot of people have different understanding on this as some says inhaler contains gas and it is neither solid nor liquid also it does not go into stomach. Please help in clarifying this aspect

Let it be known that medicinal particles available in the inhaler reaches the patient’s stomach with the gas while pumping, due to which the lungs get opened. And this act undoubtedly annuls the Fasting. Therefore it is incumbent for an asthmatic patient to avoid it. Patients who can not withstand longer periods without using the inhaler may not observe fasting and continue with the treatment and await recovery from illness. They may observe Fast once recovered to the extent that observing Fast does not cause any harm. Ootherwise make wasiyyath to pay Fidhya.
