Can one take a steam bath while fasting or not?

Taking a steam bath while in the state of fasting will cause one’s fast to become nullified, hence it should be avoided. However, if taking steam baths becomes necessary due to some kind of sickness, then it will be allowed, but it will also be incumbent to Qaza (redo) the fast of the day in which the steam bath was taken.
